Da Nang is a coastal city in central Vietnam known for its sandy beaches and history as a French colonial port. Da Nang is one of popular tourist spots in Vietnam with direct flights from major cities. One of the main highlight is the inland Bà Nà hills to the west of the city.

If you have time, stay one or two nights in Da Nang instead of passing through to Hoi An. There are plenty of things to see and do such as Ba Na Hills, Marble Mountain, Dragon Bridge, Cham Museum, Hai Van Pass, Chùa Linh Ứng, Pagoda, Da Nang Cathedral, and beaches.
Sun World Bà Nà hills is the place not to miss, this is where the famous Golden Bridge and a replica French Village theme are located. These two spots are perfect for photo opp. just need to use your photography skills with the crowd. You can take the cable car to the top where you will enjoy around 45-minute of scenic ride. A one day trip is good enough if you don’t plan to take any thrill rides or visit a was museum among other things.
Hải Vân Pass offers views of Da Nang Bay and the Marble Mountains. If you arrive Da Nang by car or van from Hanoi, you will pass Hai Van Pass.
Chùa Linh Ứng Pagoda is where the Goddess of Mercy (aka Kuan-Im or Lady Buddha) situated on the Monkey Mountain.
The Marble Mountains are a cluster of five hills made from limestone and marble in Da Nang. It’s also a well-known pilgrimage site with peaks, caves, tunnels and temples.
Dragon Bridge is 666 meters in length, a popular spot amongst photographers. The six-lane bridge crosses the Han River and was constructed in the shape of a golden dragon symbolizing power, nobility and good fortune. The bridge is illuminated with colorful LED while it breathes fire and spits out water from 2100 onwards.
