The Red Square is the place no one can miss. This cobblestone square is surrounded by many magnificent architecture where the history unfolded. You will find the glistening St. Basil’s Cathedral stands with its iconic onion-shaped domed signifying flame on a bonfire. Nearby are Kremlin, Lenin’s Mausoleum, State Historical Museum, Kazan Cathedral and GUM. Be prepared to purchase ticket online to avoid long lines to go inside Kremlin to visit museums, and store away your handbags, backpacks before proceeding to the entrance otherwise, it will be a long walk back and forth. You can just bring your camera inside. There are also hop-on-hop-off bus available so you can explore the city.
